Do not:-

• Run about

• Play the fool

• Walk about with tools (in hand or pocket)

• Use tools about which you have not had lessons

• Wear rings and other jewellery

• Use tools before checking them

Do:-

• Tell the teacher about spilt liquids

• Wear protective clothing - eye glasses, apron and strong shoes

• Ask for help if uncertain

• Leave the bench tops tidy

• Know where the emergency stop buttons are placed

• Know where the fire exits are positioned
